Intellectual PropertyCopyright and PermissionsThis site contains material from various public sources, including the NLM's PubMed and MEDLINE databases. We are continually updating the information we publish. For the date the material was last retrieved, see the "Date Retrieved" information on each NLM-derived source. NLM contributes some material (for example, MeSH indexing and headings) to the public domain. See more information on NLM copyright and PubMed copyright. Importantly: Some material in the NLM databases is from copyrighted publications of the respective copyright claimants. Since NLM makes corrections and enhancements to and performs
maintenance on these records at least annually, you should plan to
replace or correct the records once a year to ensure that they are
still correct and searchable as a group.
