Results of treatment methods in cardiac arrest following coronary artery bypass grafting.

16 Nov 2009 BACKGROUND AND AIM OF THE STUDY: Emergency re-revascularization and invasive/noninvasive interventions in intensive care unit (ICU) are two main treatment methods in cardiac arrest following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). We evaluated the ... Read more...

Intra-cardiopulmonary resuscitation hypothermia with and without volume loading in an ischemic model of cardiac arrest.

19 Sep 2009 BACKGROUND: We investigated the effects of intra-cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) hypothermia with and without volume loading on return to spontaneous circulation and infarction size in an ischemic model of cardiac arrest. METHODS AND RESULTS: ... Read more...

Chest compression fraction determines survival in patients with out-of-hospital ventricular fibrillation.

12 Sep 2009 BACKGROUND: Quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation contributes to cardiac arrest survival. The proportion of time in which chest compressions are performed in each minute of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is an important modifiable aspect of quality ... Read more...
