Transcanal endoscopic approach to the sinus tympani: a clinical report.
30 Aug 2009
OBJECTIVES: To investigate the anatomic limitations of the endoscopic transcanal approach to sinus tympani (ST), in particular, how this approach might allow a complete visualization of the ST recesses and to propose a morphologic classification of ... Read more...

The petrous apex is the most medial portion of the temporal bone that cannot be directly examined on clinical examination. The referring physician completely relies on imaging and radiologic interpretation. Unfortunately, the petrous apex displays ... Read more...
Imaging of temporal bone tumors.
30 Jul 2009
Tumoral lesions of the temporal bone are relatively rare. Cross-sectional imaging plays an important role in the description of extension of these lesions. In certain lesions, imaging characteristics are rather specific, giving a clue to diagnosis. ... Read more...
