Vestibule, Labyrinth - Physiology
Research News and Information
Definition of 'Vestibule, Labyrinth'An oval, bony chamber of the inner ear, part of the bony labyrinth. It is continuous with bony COCHLEA anteriorly, and SEMICIRCULAR CANALS posteriorly. The vestibule contains two communicating sacs (utricle and saccule) of the balancing apparatus. The oval window on its lateral wall is occupied by the base of the STAPES of the MIDDLE EAR. Common names: Vestibule, Labyrinth; Labyrinth Vestibule; Labyrinth Vestibules; Vestibules, Labyrinth; Vestibule; Vestibules; Vestibular Apparatus; Apparatus, Vestibular; Vestibular Labyrinth; Labyrinth, Vestibular; Labyrinths, Vestibular; Vestibular Labyrinths |

Motion sickness in pilot trainees: management to keep them flying.
29 Sep 2009
INTRODUCTION: Motion sickness is a recurrent problem in pilot schools. Many techniques to overcome motion sickness are used worldwide, mostly including sedative medication and psychotherapy. Motion sickness does not correlate with future pilot ... Read more...
