Quality improvement organizations: transforming the future of home health.
Full Abstract
Every QIO is individually contracted by CMS to improve the quality of care to Medicare beneficiaries, to safeguard the Medicare Trust Fund, to protect beneficiaries by expeditiously addressing individual complaints, notices and appeals, and to ensure that Medicare beneficiaries receive the highest possible quality of health care.
