Full Abstract
All hospital organizations, but especially larger hospitals, teaching hospitals, and multi-hospital systems, are facing rapidly accelerating diagnostic imaging storage demands, driven by advances in modality capabilities and changing patient demographics. It will be important for hospital organizations to develop multiple tiers of diagnostic imaging storage, in order to effectively share images enterprise-wide. Leader organizations are learning how to balance satisfying physician workflow needs with operating in financially responsible ways.
